NLAS Booth Usage

NLAS is the owner of 4 booths, one in each region. They can be used at a variety of meetings to help attendees understand Religious Awards of the Lutheran Churches. They are bright and attractive and get updated regularly as the programs change. The user is responsible for the shipping costs, but there are no usage fees.

  • Booth description: Free standing, lighted professional display, sits on a 6-8 foot rectangler or round table. Is equipt with the following: with an illuminated title panel Color, laminated posters describing the requirements and references for the Civic Youth Agencies that are being represented (i.e. Cub, Boy, Girl Scouts, Campfire, or for use in a church environment) youth handbooks that are Agency approrpiate (as above) bound copies of the Protestant and Lutheran Student and Mentor packets for God and Me, God and Family, God and Church, God and Life, and Living Faith, "A Scout is Reverent Posters", a copy of "A Scout's Duty to God". Additonal handouts, appropriate photograhs can be added to the display by the user.
  • Each Region has a person that facilitates the booth usage.

  • You may reserve by contacting the person listed above and stating the ship to name and address, phone number(s), the dates that it is needed and the name and type of event that it will be used for and any specific requests for information. You may contact George Miller, millerga@mindspring.com and he will assist in contacting the appropriate region person.
  • The booth weighs 38 pounds and is contained in a molded plastic shipping case. The user is responsible for transportation costs by UPS or other in both directions. Booth chair will try to have the booth in the requestors possession 1 week prior to event to allow them to familiarize themselves with set up, etc. Requestor is responsible for returning the booth, or forwarding it to next request within one week following use. Requestor will pay for or replace ALL missing or broken parts, and ALL missing resource materials.
  • The booths have been used at the Biennial meetings, Region meetings. Cub Scout Pack meetings, Basic Leader Training, Pow Wows or University of Scouting, District or Synod meetings, Scout Sunday celebrations, Sunday School Rally Days, Youth Rally's, Adult leader training events and probably others.
