This conference is designed so you are constantly networking with subject matter experts on faith topics\, general BSA program topics\, and geographic based Scouting resources. In fact\, you’re going to switch classrooms throughout the week based on what topic you want to hear about most! \nWe want BSA leaders (unit level and up)\, Scouting professionals\, faith volunteers and professionals (youth group\, clergy\, seminary students\, etc.)\, and family members to all join us. SUMMARY:NLAS Annual Meeting @ Religious Relationships Week
DESCRIPTION:Every two years a Nominating Committee is formed to develop a slate of nominees for the national officers of the Executive Board of the National Lutheran Association on Scouting: President-Elect\, Secretary\, Treasurer\, and two Members at Large. The officers are elected by the voting membership (dues-paid and honorary members) of NLAS and are installed at the annual meeting in even numbered years. Terms are for two years with the exception of President-Elect who succeeds to the office of President after two years. \n \nRead the Spring 2024 edition of Lutheran Scouting for more information on the nominees.

SUMMARY:ELCA Youth Gathering
DESCRIPTION:Every three years\, thousands of high school youth and their adult leaders from across the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America gather for a week of faith formation known as the ELCA Youth Gathering. Through days spent in interactive learning\, worship\, Bible study\, service and fellowship\, young people grow in faith and are challenged and inspired to live their faith in their daily lives. \nAn important part of the Gathering’s ministry are the two pre-events\, the Multicultural Youth Leadership Event (MYLE)\, a faith formation and leadership development event primarily for youth of color\, and the tAble\, a gathering that brings together\, blesses and empowers youth with disabilities. \nThe ministry of the Gathering is excited to partner with Young Adult Ministries to host the first-ever ELCA Young Adult Gathering for individuals who will be 18-35 at the time of the Gathering.

DESCRIPTION:Held every 3 years since 1980\, the LCMS Youth Gathering provides thousands of youth and adults the opportunity to come together as a community of God’s people to be encouraged in their walk with Jesus Christ and learn about the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity.  \nThe Gathering is more than the five days of the event. The preparation process for the Gathering brings together young people and supportive adults to encourage each other in their baptismal identity.
