Jesus Christ is the Light of the world,
Scouts: the light no darkness can overcome
Leader: Stay with us, Lord, for it is evening,
Scouts: and the day is almost over.
Leader: Let your light scatter the darkness,
Scouts: and illumine your Church.
Leader: We have come to the setting of the sun,
Scouts: and we look to the evening light.
Leader: Blessed are you, 0 Lord our God, king of the universe,
Scouts: who led your people Israel by a pillar of cloud by day and pillar of fire by night.
Leader:  Enlighten our darkness by the light of your Christ;

My own eyes have seen the salvation which you have prepared in the sight of every people: a light to reveal you to the nations and the glory of your people, Israel.
