Girl Scout Sunday -> “It is a Girl Scouts tradition to celebrate Girl Scout Week surrounding the birthday of Girl Scouts in the USA, March 12, commencing with Girl Scout Sunday and ending with Girl Scout Sabbath. Girl Scouts encourages its members to undertake spiritual journeys “To Serve God” via their faiths’ religious recognitions. Girl Scout Sunday is an excellent time to create awareness of your troop in the host congregation by wearing your uniforms, having a meet and greet with members of the congregation, participating in the worship service by serving as ushers or greeters or reading the scripture lessons. It is an excellent time to recognize girls earning their My Promise, My Faith award or to be presented with the church-owned religious emblem of their faith. Recognition for participating in Girl Scout Sunday can be provided by the fun patch (for wearing on the back of the vest) available from the Girl Scout Shop https://www.girlscoutshop.com/
