Celebrating a Lifetime of Service: Pierre “Frank” O’Hare Receives the Lamb Award

NLAS is thrilled to share some wonderful news from our local Scouting community! During a recent Scout Sunday service at Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon, Scouting leader Pierre “Frank” O’Hare was honored with the prestigious Lutheran Lamb Award.

What is the Lamb Award? The Lamb Award is a high honor that recognizes individuals for their distinguished service to both their church and the youth in their community. Nominated by local leaders and approved by the national nonprofit Programs of Religious Activities with Youth (PRAY), it is a testament to Frank’s dual commitment to faith and mentorship.

A Legacy of Leadership Frank O’Hare’s journey in Scouting began in 1959 as a Cub Scout. Over the last six decades, he has reached the highest levels of the organization, including receiving the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award (DESA). As a resident of Howard, Ohio, Frank has spent a lifetime fostering spiritual growth and leadership skills in the next generation.

Please join us in congratulating Frank on this well-deserved recognition. His sixty-plus years of dedication to faith and community serves as an inspiration to us all!
